Gulf Cup – Dirt Track Racing – Clash of Titans

First Round on 26th & 27th April at Mangalore.

Gulf Oil Corporation India Ltd. has been supporting motor sports by way of sponsoring Dirt Track Racing since past five years.

This year too Gulf Oil Corporation India Ltd will be sponsoring The Gulf Dirt Track Cup. The competition promises to be tougher and the prize money larger.

The first Round is scheduled for the 26th & 27th April at Mangalore. The event will be staged at Karavali Utsav ( Exhibition ) Ground, Behind Mangala Stadium, Lady Hill, Mangalore.

Concept:

This event will consist of 4 qualifying rounds and a fifth final round.

The final round will be known as Gulf Cup Dirt Track Racing - Clash of Titans

To be eligible to participate in the 5th round we will have 4 rounds prior to the final rounds. Maximum 15 and minimum 6 riders will be selected from 4 qualifying rounds

Cumulative points of four rounds will be considered for their eligibility in their final round for their respective classes.

It will be a pre-conditioned that the rider should have taken the start and be a finisher in at least 3 rounds amongst the four for him to qualify in Gulf Cup Dirt Track Racing - Clash of Titans.

Over Rs. 4,00,000/- has been earmarked for the final Prize money and trophies for the Clash of Titans. Apart from the prize money one will win in each round.

The event will be organized by Sportscraft of Mumbai in association with Mangalore Motor Sports Association.

Two special local class for Karnataka state is set for motorcycles upto 165cc 2 stroke & motorcycles upto 165cc 4 stroke Group c.
