ANAND – MOROZEVICH JOINT WINERRS at 15th Amber Tournaments
Brussels 30th March 2006. In the final round Anand made two draws against Topalov while Morozevich scored 1½ against Van Wely. Thus they shared first place with identical14½ points. Morozevich was first in the blindfold section with a fantastic score of 9½ out of 11, three points ahead of the closest pursuer. Anand won the rapid tournament by a 1½ point margin.
