From managing stress to managing own great success in 10 Spiritual steps, is what Mr. Sajid Arjuna Karmayogi teaches people through the SUGANZEN method which is a combination of  TOOLS OF SUFISM, ANCIENT FORM OF YOGA AND ZEN.  He conducts this program at Alibagh, a small sanctuary called ‘Nyasa’ meaning surrender, a place to rejuvenate the body, mind, stabilize the emotions and restart one’s professional drive.

Sajid Arjuna Peerbhoy ( karmajyoti is his spiritual name ) teaches, guides and counsels people at his Sungazen session. His spiritual mission is to help people achieve their full potential, fulfil their dreams,and live a happy, healthy and holistic life, full of happiness, love and success.

Says Sajid -“We read papers every day that people are so wound up. We read about heart attacks. frustration and failure leading to suicides. Someone needs to be there to help these people. Besides, I wanted to continue my own spiritual practices undisturbed. I felt that by sharing spiritual tools I too would learn more and enhance my own  Spiritual development. By helping People live a  more successful life, and give hope to the stressed out, rat-raced-out wound up, burnt out people of Mumbai”

Sajid is an initiate in the Sufi discipline. He is a Karma Sanyassi from the Tantric Yogic discipline and is studying under an enlightened Zen master as his disciple. All these tools combine together will form the practice of Sungazen.  The discipline he teaches his students is a strategic balance of meditation, an understanding of ones inner power, ancient practices of breathing and asanas. The philosophy of Zen is experienced in discussions, talks, Haiku (Japanese poetry) writing, music therapy, expression therapy and “Clay Play” therapy. The latter with the help of two master potters Ralli and Perrin Jacob. also inhabitants of Alibag.

Sajid was earlier the owner and head of a successful advertising agency, Speer. He sold the company to Ogilvy and Mather. Worked with them for three years and left as executive Vice-President and Executive Creative Director of O&M /Speer to join Ambience D’Arcy as creative head. For a short stint. Before completely severing his ties with the advertising and commercial world.

At various times he was also a filmmaker (He was executive Producer of a Hindi Feature “Rajnigndha”). a photographer, musician,  writer,  a chauffeur and a Chef. Giving up all this to pursue his sadhana.
