Emergency medical service on Mumbai Pune Expressway

A friend of mine informed me today that an emergency medical service on Mumbai-Pune Expressway has been recently started by Dr. Narendra Vaidya, a Trauma Surgeon from Sion Hospital. This service has been started with joint efforts from MMRDA and Sion Hospital, Mumbai and is reported to have been certified by American College of Surgeons. The service provides well equipped Ambulance facility on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway for any trauma WITHIN 15 MINUTES.

Further, one back-up Ambulance has also been provided, in case any of the four Ambulances does not function properly. They will take the concerned person/s to the nearest hospital, free of cost.
