Film star, screenplay writer, producer, media entrepreneur has now turned director. Deepa Sahi’s makes her directorial debut with ‘TERE MERE PHERE’ a romantic comedy that is a road movie shot extensively in the exotic Himalayas.TMP is set to release in theatres all over India on 30th Sept.2011. Known to many as a director’s producer, Deepa has produced epics such as ‘The Rising- Ballad of Mangal Pandey’ and ‘Rang Rasiya/ Colors of Passion’. TMP is a story about the war of the sexes…. a made for each other couple, Pooja and Rahul… who have a perfect love affair and a perfect marriage, set out on a perfect dream  honeymoon in a motor home driving through the breath taking Himalayas…  but then can life ever be perfect?!  If “distance makes the heart grow fonder” then the too much proximity should have the reverse effect! And it does. As Pooja and Rahul get too close for comfort, the gilt of romance begins to rub off, a series of absurd fights follow and soon they get embroiled with  a local Himachali  small town  guy ( Vinay Pathak)  and his girl Muskaan, the  “Pahadi Mirch” ( Riya Sen).

How the couples’ lives get entwined is the story of this crazy film about the eternal emotion “love”.

A Maya Movies film Tere Mere Phere is produced by Ketan Mehta and the legendry singer Anup Jalota. The film stars Vinay Pathak, Riya Sen and introduces two talented new comers, Jagrat Desai & Sasha Goradia and also stars Darshan Jariwala & Sushmita Mukherjee.

TMP is a comic look at the most complicated happening in mankind’s life! - The institution of MARRIAGE! Shot in the heartland of the mighty Himalayas, with its lush green valleys, its torrid streams and its cold desert mountains. The zigzag roads of the high mountains make this mad ride about love all the more exciting!

TMP is a story about a newly married couple, Pooja and Rahul… who have a perfect love affair and a perfect marriage and go on a perfect dream  honeymoon in a motor home driving through the breath taking Himalayas… but then can life ever be perfect?!  

Inter woven into this is the equally hilarious story of Jai a small town Himachali guy (Vinay Pathak) and his girl Muskaan, the “Pahadi Mirch” (Riya Sen)

On her choice of the subject Deepa says “Hey! There is too much depression around…if you want to have a good laugh, what better way than seeing a couple of men and women like us thrown together?   I think half the problems happen because we take ourselves too seriously! I find the man –woman relationship fascinating! A  Marriage is something that legitimizes this relationship. But having married how legit are the workings between them?! That is what the movie dives into but in a light hearted manner!
