EXERCISE UNKNOWINGLY IN DAILY LIFE.

In a city like ours it’s time, start counting the steps you takes for your activity from going out for work and return, to washing car by yourself. Individuals walk daily taking between 5000 and 7500 steps a day, are doing typical daily activity i.e. to work and back, and during working hours in the workplace.. The next time your wife is standing around in the kitchen, bringing you food at the dinning table during lunch/dinner time, she takes the equivalent of 950 steps. In fact, this activity lasts more than 30. minutes.
Action for more than 15 minutes, less than 30 minutes. Equivalent no. of steps.
Watering lawn/garden 600
Vigorous sexual activity 750
Cleaning, washing dishes 900
Playing ten pin bowling 1200
Carpentry work at home 1200
Shopping at mall with trolley 1400
General house cleaning 1400
Playing table tennis, horse riding 1600
Washing car [by hand] 1850

The everyday tasks really add upto 10,000 steps or beyond without realizing the exercise one does and maintains fitness.
So, one is considered sedentary /low active with fewer than 5000 steps /day
Between 5000 and 7500, one is typically active, and someone is somewhat active
With 10,000 steps/day, and beyond 10,000 steps / day , one is really active, and lastly more than 12,500 steps /day is highly active.
One exercises unknowingly in their daily routine activity. .So, it’s time to start counting and see how you measure up.
