We are in the 21st century and the world is becoming a global village in which people are more inclined towards peace and economic development.

Yet two neighbour nuclear powers are still dagger drawn and wasting their limited funds on armaments some of which will never be used.

The soviet union collapsed - berlin wall taken down - hongkong and macao independent - and now the money is being spent on welfare of citizens who pay taxes.

Why cant these politicians for once start thinking of channeling these vast sums towards improving the quality of life in the respective countries

it is strange that the politicians are busy accusing each other but the masses have reconciled and creating an environment of goodwill and cooperation at times this forces politicians to bow before the masses will.

How nice it would be when we have a free flow of people and friendship making this world a better world than the world we came into.

Let bygones be bygones and let us look forward to a bright future for us and our children.
