Summer Workshops 2008

Nehru Centre, Mumbai is organizing following Workshops for Secondary School Students during summer 2008.

The Mathemagic Workshop for students of Standard VIII on Tuesday, 6 May 2008. The workshop will be conducted by Ms. Rakhi Banerjee, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Deonar, Mumbai- 400088.

The Joy of Experimentation for students of Standard VII & VIII on Wednesday 7 May 2008. The Workshop will be conducted by Mr. V. G. Gambhir, Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education, TIFR, Mankhurd, Mumbai 400085.

Introduction to Vedic Mathematics for students of Standard VII & VIII on Thursday, 8 May 2008. The Workshop will be conducted by Mr. Atul Gupta, Software Consultant based in Mumbai.

The Nurture Nature for students of standards VII & VIII on Friday, 9 May 2008. The workshop will be conducted by Dr. V. Shubhalaxmi, Sr. Education Officer Bombay Natural History Society, Mumbai.

The Hands on Science Experimentation for students of standards VII & VIII on Saturday. 10 May 2008. The workshop will be conducted by Mr. Anand Ghaisas, Scientific Officer, Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education

The Science Experimentation for students of VII & VIII on Thursday, 15 May 2008. The workshop will be conducted by Ms. Manasi Rajadhyaksha, Former lecturer, D.G. Ruparel College, Mumbai.

The Nature Quest: An Environment Awareness Workshop For Students of Standards VII & VIII on Friday, 16 May 2008. The workshop will be conducted by Dr. Rajendra Shinde Department of Botany, St.Xavier's College, Mumbai 400001

The Wonders of Marine Life for students of standard VIII & IX on Saturday, 17 May 2008. The Workshop will be conducted by Dr. Sanjay Bhagwat, Dept. of Zoology, Ram Narayan Ruia College, Matunga, Mumbai 400019.
