DIRT TRACK NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP FOR 2 WHEELERS – 5TH & FINAL ROUND

9TH & 10TH DECEMBER 2006 – JODHPUR

Once again Jodhpur the sun city will witness one of the most exciting motor sporting event on the 9th & 10th December 2006 as the fifth & final round of the Gulf Dirt Track National Championship series is scheduled on this day.

The event is sponsored by Gulf Oil Corporation Limited, which is today the 2nd largest private sector company in the Indian Lubricants’ market. They have taken onto them to promote events for two wheelers at the grass root level and to take motor sports to the mass.

The event, organized by Mumbai’s Sportscraft in association with Apex society under the aegis of the Federation of Motorsports Clubs of India, will be held at the Polo Ground, Panch Batti Circle, Ratanade, Jodhpur.

Two wheelers manufacturing giant TVS with their full strength had participated in last year round and have shown full interest to fight this year’s rounds too.

The Gulf Dirt Track National Championship is open to riders from all over India and is expected to draw the best and first time riders in a test of riding skills and human endurance.

The prize money at stake is huge, with the winners of each leg taking home Rs 75, 000/- , while the overall winners, who logs the most points in the five legs (for group ‘B’ - modified class, Novice class and for foreign class), will receive Rs 1,50, 000/-.

There will be a special class for local entries from Rajasthan.

Entries for the same will be accepted till Monday 4th December, 06 1700 hrs. Late entries will close on Wednesday 6th December 1300 hours.
