GULF DIRT TRACK NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP FOR 2 WHEELERS 4TH ROUND – NASHIK

11TH & 12TH NOVEMBER 2006 - ANNOUNCEMENT

The lubricant major Gulf Oil Corporation Limited has come forward to stage Series of Gulf Dirt Track National Championship for Two-Wheelers, in different parts of the country, the fourth round will be held at Nashik - Idgah Maidan (Golf Club Ground), Trimbak Road, on 11th & 12th November 2006. The event will be organised by Mumbai's Sportscraft in association with Nashik Automotive Sports Association – NASA under the aegis of the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI).

Gulf Oil Corporation Ltd, is a 100 years old company and is the second largest lubricant company in India among the private oil companies. The company manufactures all types of automotive as well as industrial lubricants in their state of the art plant at Silvassa. Gulf Oil also is exporters of their finished products to many other countries and is present in about 80 countries across the world.

Dirt Track is a spectacular in-stadia and quite thrilling event, with a mass start , staged on natural terrain without any jumps.

The Gulf Dirt Track Championship is open to riders from all over India .it encourages experts as well as novice riders. Other races will be held in Scooter Class , 2 & 4 stroke Local class etc., Though they will not be counted in Championship Point. Over total 2.5 lakhs championship amount will be disbursed among the Champions. And for each Zonal round prize money worth Rs. 1.5 lakhs will be given away along with the trophies.

Entries for the same will be accepted till Monday 6th November 2006 : 1700 hrs. Late entries will close on Wednesday 8th November 2006 1300 hours.
