DogmaTone Records To promote Rock Music in India
by Sunil Anand & Varun Rajgopalan
DogmaTone Records, a record label formed to promote Rock Music in India,
co-sponsored the New Delhi Fringe Fest which was held in Delhi just a few
months back.
Held in Delhi on November 25-27 - 2005, the fest featured the best in Indian
music, Art, Photography, Films and Food. Edinburgh in Scotland started the
tradition, other cities followed suit globally and now New Delhi had its
first ever Fringe Festival. A platform that celebrated the best of visual
arts, theatre, film, photography and music - such festivals are an open
forum for creative minds to showcase their talent to the world.
Sunil from DogmaTone Records said, "We are aware that this festival is about
encouraging emerging and existing artists in the country. This is a
philosophy that even DogmaTone Records believes in. We completely supported
the event."
DogmaTone Records is represented in Delhi by Saran, who was instrumental in
creating this association. She says, "It is wonderful that such an event
took place. The amount of talent that was showcased is wonderful. DogmaTone
Records is proud to be associated with such events."
